NeutraDC Singapore and Super Sistem Strengthen Regional Digital Connectivity Ecosystem
Singapore–Batam subsea cable collaboration marks a strategic step in reinforcing NeutraDC’s integrated digital infrastructure foundation across Southeast Asia

Singapore, November 2025 – NeutraDC Singapore Pte. Ltd. (“NeutraDC Singapore”), a subsidiary of PT Telkom Data Ekosistem (NeutraDC) under Telkom Group, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Super Sistem Cruz Pte. Ltd. (“Super Sistem”) to enhance digital connectivity between Singapore, Batam, and other key cities across Indonesia.
This collaboration marks an important step in strengthening NeutraDC’s integrated digital ecosystem, bridging subsea connectivity, data center infrastructure, and AI readiness to support the region’s accelerating digital economy.
Under this partnership, Super Sistem will build and operate the Super Sistem Batam–Singapore (SSBS) Subsea Cable System, an integral part of the strategic Barat Timur Indonesia (BTI) Cable System project. Spanning 4,700 kilometers, the cable network will link Batam, Jakarta, and Manado through seven landing stations, providing high-capacity, secure, and reliable connectivity across Indonesia’s west–east corridor.
CEO NeutraDC Singapore, Sendang Praptomo, stated that the new cable system will be directly connected, without intermediaries, to NeutraDC Singapore and NeutraDC Batam data centers located in the Kabil industrial area of Batam. “This partnership reaffirms NeutraDC’s commitment to expanding regional digital connectivity through a collaborative and sustainable approach. Together with Super Sistem, we are establishing a scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure foundation to support the growing demands of cloud, AI, and edge computing across Southeast Asia,” said Sendang.
Director of Super Sistem Cruz Pte. Ltd., Chan Tuck Han, added that the collaboration reflects a shared commitment to strengthening the region’s digital backbone. “We see this partnership as a significant step toward building an open and reliable subsea network. By combining our subsea infrastructure with NeutraDC’s carrier-neutral ecosystem, we are reinforcing the digital backbone that supports the region’s transformation,” Chan Tuck Han said.
The MoU forms part of NeutraDC’s long-term strategy to position Batam as a regional digital hub. This momentum was further reinforced by the recent Topping Off Ceremony of NeutraDC Nxera Batam, on 30 October 2025, marking a key milestone in the construction of NeutraDC’s first data center in the area.
CEO NeutraDC Group, Andreuw Th.A.F., noted that the collaboration between NeutraDC Singapore and Super Sistem is a significant milestone in realizing NeutraDC’s broader vision to establish an integrated digital ecosystem hub linking Singapore and Indonesia.
“Our efforts are focused on strengthening readiness for AI and hyperscale computing. Both are key components of NeutraDC’s continuous strategy to enhance regional connectivity and accelerate Southeast Asia’s digital transformation,” Andreuw said.
With Batam’s strategic position at the heart of the SIJORI (Singapore–Johor–Riau Islands) growth triangle, this collaboration expands cross-border digital connectivity that promotes inclusive and sustainable regional economic growth, further reinforcing NeutraDC’s role as a key enabler of Southeast Asia’s digital ecosystem.
